What to expect

What Happens After You Call

When you call, we ask a handful of questions before we can give you a real number instead of a guess. What's the door doing - won't open, won't close, stuck halfway, making a grinding or popping sound?

  1. Questions that shape pricing

Is it one door or two? Single or double width? How old is the opener, and do you know if the springs have ever been replaced? Most homes in the Buda area were built between 1980 and 2014, with a lot of stock from the 1990s, so a lot of what we see is original torsion spring setups or first-generation chain-drive openers that are simply worn out.

  2. House age as a clue

Telling us the rough age of the house helps us guess what's inside the garage before we ever pull up. Some things we can price over the phone - a broken spring on a standard double door, a opener replacement, a new keypad.

  3. Items needing an on-site look

Other things we genuinely can't price until we've looked: cable damage from a door that's been run while off-track, bent track from a car backing into it, rot or warping on an older wood panel door. If you can send a photo or two when you call, that speeds things up. If not, we'll schedule a look and give you the number on site before any work starts.

Our services

The Work We Take On

We work on residential garage doors - springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, and panel replacement - for homes in Buda and the surrounding area, including Manchaca, Shady Hollow, Creedmoor, Niederwald, Bear Creek, Uhland, Mustang Ridge, Sunset Valley, Belterra, Driftwood, Onion Creek, and Village at Western Oaks.

Scope limited to framing

We don't do new garage construction, and we don't install the door opening itself - we work with what's already framed. A fair amount of what we see locally is 1990s-era builds with original torsion hardware that's simply reached the end of its service life, alongside newer openers that need a sensor or circuit board swapped rather than replaced whole.

Custom panel sourcing delays

One honest limitation: if a panel is custom-sized or an older imported door, the replacement panel can take longer to source than the repair itself, and we'll tell you that up front rather than quote a date we can't hit.

Replace over costly repair

If replacing the door outright is cheaper or faster than chasing parts for something fifteen or twenty years old, we'll say so instead of running up a repair bill that doesn't make sense.

Contacting Us

A tan brick house has a black garage door and a concrete driveway.

Call us at (737) 450-3760 to start a quote, or stop by our location at 800 S FM 1626, Buda, TX 78610. If you're calling from one of the farther towns we reach - Belterra, Driftwood, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Bee Cave, or Lockhart - mention your location when you call; distance can affect scheduling on the same day.

Have the door's basic details ready: single or double, age of the house if you know it, and what it's doing (or not doing). That's enough for us to give you a starting range on common repairs. Anything involving a damaged panel, bent track, or an opener we haven't seen before gets priced once we're standing in front of it, not before.

Questions

Common questions

Can you give me a price over the phone?

For common jobs - a broken spring, a dead opener, a new keypad - yes, we can give you a range once we know single or double door and roughly how old the setup is. Anything involving bent track, damaged panels, or an opener model we haven't handled gets priced in person, because guessing on those usually means a number that's wrong.

Do you work outside Buda itself?

Yes. We take jobs in Manchaca, Shady Hollow, Creedmoor, Bear Creek, Sunset Valley, Belterra, Driftwood, Onion Creek, and the surrounding area. If you're farther out - Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Bee Cave, Lockhart - call ahead so we can work it into the schedule.

My house is older - does that change the quote?

It can. A lot of the stock around here dates to the 1980s and 90s, and original torsion spring hardware from that era sometimes needs parts that aren't on every truck. If that's the case, we'll tell you before starting rather than quote a same-day fix that doesn't hold up.

What's something you won't quote without seeing the door?

Panel damage, bent track, and anything where the door's been run off-track on its cables. Those jobs vary too much house to house to price blind, and giving you a number without seeing it usually means it's wrong.
